Watercolor Print- Chameleon
Quirky, colorful, and completely in charge of his rock.
This print started with my six year old, who drew a chameleon the way only a six year old can. Big round belly, spiky little chin, wide eyes that have seen things, and just enough legs to get the job done. He stands at the top of his rock like he owns it, which he absolutely does. The tail curves out behind him with the casual confidence of someone who has nowhere to be and no interest in hurrying.
I followed his lines with watercolor, filling that magnificent belly with soft washes of blue and yellow-green that shift and blend the way a chameleon actually does. The spiky green head and sturdy little legs carry the same fresh energy, all set against a cool misty background that makes him feel like he belongs somewhere wild and a little magical.
This one has a personality you can't manufacture. It belongs in a kid's room, a playroom, or anywhere that appreciates a creature with an extremely strong sense of self.
Printed to preserve the energy and texture of the original painting, each piece keeps the hand-drawn quality that makes it unmistakably his.
Available in multiple sizes, with framing options in black, white, or natural wood for a clean, finished presentation. Proceeds support his education.
Bold. Weird. Absolutely the main character.
